Guardians of the Forest Every year in December, our sustainable extractive partners return to our forests, which are mostly on the banks of the Juruena River, one of the largest & most crystalline rivers in Mato Grosso, Brazil. Only 70% of the fallen fruit in this area is manually harvested for approximately 4 months, the rest is left to feed the animals & for the forest to regenerate. Our forests have a sustainable management plan & organic certification. Made at Origin & generating income for the local communities is one of the pillars of our brand. All of our production is done at origin, we believe that this way we generate value for those who need it most. Through fair trade we manage to make income possible for hundreds of families, generating transformation in their lives & fostering a local green economy.
