Our veggie and herbs loaded pearl quinoa has a nutty flavor and a fluffy, crunchy texture. They are prewashed, ready-to-use and cooks in just 20 minutes. Even though technically not a cereal grain, it still counts as a whole-grain food. Mixed with Pereg’s spices, hand-picked plum tomatoes and carrots from Italy, create a robust and flavorful combination. The savory ingredients enhance the flavor of this healthy snack.<p><p> <b>Ingredients:</b> Prewashed Quinoa, Dried Vegetables (Carrots, Onions, Tomatoes), Garlic, Parlsey, Spices, Salt (Gluten Free).<p><p> <b>Cooking Instructions: StoveTop:</b> Boil 2 cups water in a small saucepan, add 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil or vegetable oil and contents of the quinoa bag. Reduce heat to low, cover loosely. Cook for 15 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Turn off heat and let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving.<br> <b>Microwave:</b> In a microwave safe container combine 2 cups water, contents of quinoa box, and ½ tablespoon of olive oil or vegetable oil. Cover loosely. Cook on high for 5 minutes, stir & re-cover. Reduce heat to medium and cook for 8 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes.
