The aroma is woodsy and mildly pine-like.</p><p>In the kitchen, season soups, stews, meats, vegetables, and breads with the leaves alone or combined with other herbs. For skincare, use the leaves in formulations for skin, scalp, and hair, or infuse them in alcohol or witch hazel for perfumes and colognes.
