The Swiss Water Process gently removes caffeine using just water and no chemicals, yielding a flavorful cup without a “processed” taste. Strong taste and heady aroma, perfect for any time of the day. We use Central American coffees as a base for this. This is a great 'blender' should you make your own 'half-caf'. IMPORTANT NOTE - Decaffeinated coffee looks different, resulting in darker beans. The roast level, however, is still a Dark Roast. “Swiss Water processed coffee starts out a darker shade of green and has a matte finish. It will follow a similar roast progression to non-decaffeinated coffee and the exterior of the bean will maintain a darker color through the entire roast.” - Swiss Water FAQ’s.
