Grown at a high elevation in cooler temperature, sidama cherries ripen slowly and are harvested late, developing a particularly complex flavor. Our sidama is dry-processed or “natural,” which means that the coffee beans are sun-dried inside the berry. This traditional and more environment-friendly process imbues the beans with a deep aromatic fruitiness. Enjoy a luscious fruit-forward, floral and earthy profile with low acidity and medium body. Grown on the lush highlands of Ethiopia and roasted in New York, not only is our specialty coffee some of the best in the world, it is also a bridge between our old and new homes.
