Nyampinga which translates to "beautiful women, both inside and out", is a women's coffee cooperative in the Nyaruguru district of Southern Rwanda. These Rwandan women, who live in under-resourced communities have dedicated themselves to growing quality coffee and connecting with the international market to provide better lives for their families. At Bean Bastard, we believe in sustainable coffee practices. We utilize the "Farm to Cup" approach with more direct connections to the farmers. By cutting out the middle man and using smaller batches, more attention is paid to each bean, leading to more high-quality coffee. Our light roast, whole bean, wet process Rwandan coffee is part of the Bean Bastard Specialty Coffee line. This single origin coffee is bright, juicy, sweet, and features tones of citrus and honey.
