The red hibiscus flowers are grown on the Satemwa farm and are harvested around June-September by smallholder farmers. The process of making red hibiscus tea starts with the farmers carefully removing the bright Calyx of the flower by hand and sun-drying them. The red hibiscus is naturally healthy with Vitamin C-rich properties and a long list of benefits associated with health concerns. The refreshing, vibrant, vitamin-rich hibiscus tea infuses with a deep, ruby-red colour along with a fresh, sour and sweet taste.
